Grsp was founded in 2014 and based in New York.  We chose to call this product "Grsp" for grasp, meaning to understand something and/or to hold something in your hands.  The name reflected our desire to help people use smartphones to quickly understand products they encounter in the physical world.

We wanted Grsp to transform how people shop in person.  Grsp gathered and synthesized information from the Internet and other people - quickly, simply and easily.
